Happy Birthday Hunter!

I can't believe it's been 9 years since the birth of my firstborn son! Watching your children grow and mature sure makes the years fly by.

Hunter had a great time at his birthday party at Wild River Country with some of his friends and cousins - (Chandler, Ethan, Kenney, Cody, Tyler, Caleb, Asher and Levi). I couldn't get that group of goofy boys to take me seriously when it was time to take a picture! They were all pulling their shorts up to their chests, and making goofy faces to see who could look the "nerdiest" (you would never catch a group of girls trying to out-nerd each other for a photograph!!) This was the best I could get out of them before they ran off to play.

We spent several hours at the water park before we were on our way home for the second "party". Since Faith and Jesse did not attend the party, we had a celebration dinner at home that evening. I had pre-made a lasagna (Hunter's favorite) and a strawberry jello cake, and we got home in time for a late dinner with Maw and Paw-Paw, and Mike and Aprill and Tyler. Hunter was very appreciative, and told me several times that he had a really good birthday. He's such a good boy and I'm so proud of him. He is kind and obedient, and we have never had any real discipline problems with him. He is a peacemaker. I pray that God will help me to preserve that "goodness" in him in the upcoming years. Happy birthday, Hunter - I love you so much.
